Police identify the teen dead after Outer Banks shooting, 16-year-old suspect charged with murder
A shooting at Avalon Pier in Kill Devil Hills has left 19-year-old Zane Huges dead and a 15-year-old boy injured. The accused, 16-year-old Henry Hargis, is in custody facing charges of first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
The suspect and victim have been named in the shooting in the parking lot at Avalon Pier in the Outer Banks on Thursday.

Thursday's shooting killed one and injured a bystander, who was hit by a ricochet bullet and airlifted to a Norfolk hospital.
