The NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) satellite was launched from Sriharikota, marking a first-of-its-kind joint Earth observation mission using advanced dual-frequency radar technology.

Carrying an advanced radar system that will produce a dynamic, three-dimensional view of Earth in unprecedented detail, the NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite has launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota,

NISAR will be able to monitor "changes as small as a centimeter in any weather, and in both darkness and light."
