The NWS and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention created the experimental HeatRisk tool to help assess possible health risks tied to extreme heat and humidity.
Scattered storms are back for Sunday afternoon, primarily between 1 and 7 p.m. Any activity eyeing the tri-state through the afternoon and evening could bring severe storms, damaging winds and flash flooding.
