A prosecutor in the Bryan Kohberger case shared his theory on why Dylan Mortensen survived the attack that left four college students dead.

The news comes about a week after the 30-year-old was sentenced to life in prison for the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students: Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, and Xana Kernodle. He took a plea deal, admitting he was guilty to avoid the death penalty. Kohberger is now serving four consecutive life sentences.

The August 2022 video shows Kohberger driving the same white Hyundai Elantra that police say was used during the killings.
