On Friday, Giants reporter Dan Duggan of The Athletic attempted to pour cold water over talk about a potential battle for the club's QB1 gig.

Since New York Giants fans became aware of Arch Manning, many have wanted nothing more than for him to suit up for the GMen. Of course, his uncle Eli Manning was integral to the Giants' winning their last two Super Bowls.

The New York Giants entered the offseason with a major problem at the quarterback position. General manager Joe Schoen had an excellent approach to that issue, though. He signed veteran quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, and then he traded up into the first round of the 2025 NFL draft to select Jaxson Dart.
