JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 7-year-old boy was killed and a 21-year-old man was injured in a "gang-related" shooting on Jacksonville's Westside Friday evening, the sheriff's office said.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a 21-year-old man and a boy were leaving a home on Commonwealth Avenue around 5 p.m. when a car, believed to be a Kia Soul, approached, and individuals exited the vehicle and began shooting.
