Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the IDF would only withdraw from Lebanon if the Lebanese Army carried out its part of the November deal.

Israeli forces killed 22 people and wounded 124 others Sunday when displaced residents of southern Lebanon defied Israel's decision not to withdraw from border villages and tried to return home.

Demonstrators, some carrying Hezbollah flags, attempted to enter several villages to protest Israel’s failure to withdraw by the 60-day deadline.

There is currently no indication of the presence of the hostages. Hamas is expected to release Karina Ariev, 20; Daniella Gilboa, 20; Naama Levy, 20; and Liri Albag, 19. In exchange, Israel will release 200 Palestinians being held in prisons.
