A new bill in Albany would ban masks on law enforcement officers in response to recent arrests by masked ICE immigration agents.

A growing coalition of Democratic-led states have introduced bills that would prohibit ICE agents from wearing face coverings.

ICE says its employees have good reasons to hide their faces from protesters who want to dox them online, but Democrats say masked federal agents evokes "secret police," and the practice should be banned.
