On Tuesday, the software company Block announced the launch of Goose, an open-source AI agent that allows developers to customize the tool for different purposes and using different large language models.

Block has created its own open-source AI agent called “codename goose" to help developers with engineering tasks.

The Hong Kong-based family office set up by Joe Tsai, cofounder and chairman of the Alibaba Group, has acquired a 12 percent stake in the Italian company.

Golden Goose, the maker of the Super-Star sneakers brand, said Hong Kong investment firm Blue Pool Capital acquired a minority stake, a move that is expected to support the Italian fashion company’s growth ambitions.

Golden Goose Group S.p.A has received a strategic minority investment of approximately 12 percent from Blue Pool Capital, a Hong Kong-based investment firm and family office. Funds advised by Permira, the global investment firm, will retain a majority investment in Golden Goose.
