GE Aerospace and Boeing have secured a $14.5 billion commitment from Etihad Airways. For GE Aerospace, it's the company's second major deal in less than a week with a Middle East airline company. The order will support 154,000 U.S. jobs annually, the White House said.

The Research Triangle Park continues to be a hub for economic growth, and the latest announcement from GE Aerospace supports nearly 2,000 workers at the Durham manufacturer.
