Carnival season is back in Louisiana, and for some, that means it’s time to grab a Dong Phuong king cake. In a post to social media on King’s Day, the bakery listed its official resellers with 29 locations.

When it comes to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Dong Phuong king cakes reign supreme. And while Carnival 2025 doesn’t kick off until Monday, January 6, it appears Dong Phuong king cake preorders are already fully booked up for the length of the season,

Waveland Pharmacy, at 112 Auderer Blvd., is one of only two authorized resellers of Dong Phuong’s king cakes this year on the Mississippi Coast, the bakery’s website shows. The other is Lee’s International Grocery at 917 Division St. in Biloxi.
