Onyx is developing Wisteria Lane, a spinoff/reimagining of ABC’s 2004-12 hit Desperate Housewives. The project comes from writer/executive producer Natalie Chaidez ( The Flight Attendant, Queen of the South) and EP Kerry Washington. Should it go forward, Wisteria Lane would stream on Hulu alongside Onyx Collective’s other shows.

“Desperate Housewives” is coming back. An offshoot series titled “Wisteria Lane” is in development at Onyx Collective, according to multiple media reports. The series will come from Kerry Washington‘s Simpson Street and 20th Television. Natalie Chaidez, known for her work on “The Flight Attendant,” will write the series.

Fans of Desperate Housewives, brace yourselves, because there’s set to be more gossip, heartbreak, backstabbing and bonding on Wisteria Lane, with a reboot of the Noughties hit currently in development.
