It sounds like there will be no reprieve for the Celtics from physical play on their way to a hopeful title defense.

The Celtics will be coming off six full days of rest heading into the second round series after beating the Orlando Magic 4-1 in their first round series that wrapped up on Tuesday. The Knicks will have three days off before heading to Boston after beating the Pistons 4-2 in their series with a clincher on Thursday night in Detroit.

Expect Boston to target Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns often in the 1st Celtics-Knicks playoff showdown since 2013.
