Canada Goose on Wednesday withheld from providing its fiscal 2026 forecast due to tariff-related uncertainty, even as strong winter season sales drove its quarterly revenue, lifting its shares 22% higher.

Canada Goose Holdings’ profit and revenue rose thanks to a strong performance from its direct-to-consumer channel, but said it would withhold guidance for the new fiscal year amid broader consumer uncertainty.

Tariffs are an expected topic of discussion at a meeting of the top U.S. and Canadian finance advisers late Wednesday at the G7 gathering in Canada's Alberta province.

Finance leaders from the Group of Seven industrialized democracies will strive for unity on non-tariff issues when they meet in Canada this week, but may have trouble reaching consensus with a Trump administration intent on pushing allies to serve U.

"The G7 matters, especially if we agree China is our main competitive issue and adversary," Flavio Volpe, president of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association said.
