Astronomer, which is a private data infrastructure and operations company, announced the move on social media Saturday, a day after it announced both were on leave.
Days after two execs for a data analytics firm were embarrassingly shown on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert, one of them has resigned, with cofounder Pete DeJoy taking over as interim CEO. An Astronomer post on social media says,
DeJoy was named Astronomer’s interim CEO after Byron was placed on leave following his alleged cheating scandal.
Astronomer CEO Byron was shown romantically holding his company's chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, at a recent Coldplay concert.
"Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO given Andy Byron has been placed on leave," a statement from the company read. The decision came after Byron was spotted hugging a woman, later identified as Kristin Cabot.
