Early voting kicked off Saturday for New York City's primary. On the ballot are local City Council races, public advocate, comptroller and the highly anticipated Democratic mayor's race. CBS News New York's Lori Bordonaro spoke with voters who turned out early to choose their candidates.

The primary is on June 24, but because of ranked-choice voting, it could take as along as July 1 to know the official results. You must vote at your assigned early voting site. Your early voting site may be different from your Election Day poll site, so make sure to check before you go!
