I believe there is but one entrance that being from the parking lot.

The passes are now $80 for a lifetime senior pass. They are only available 10 am to 3 pm Wednesday through Sunday. Checks and cash are accepted. No credit cards.

This has been a hard winter at Forsythe due to the extremely cold weather than froze over 90% of the water. It is getting warmer and the ice should be disappearing. Right now, the refuge's drives are closed due to the recent snow. I suggest you call the refuge office, they open at 10 am, and ask if they are open and if there are any swans that are in the area. It will save you a trip. There is also a good number of swans that winter at Lake Como which is on the border of Spring Lake and Belmar, right near the beach. GOOD LUCK
